Have a Good, Good Friday...

Happy Easter!

A day early however with it being Good Friday in the U.K. (it's a normal working day here for me so no chocolate just yet!)  I thought you wouldn't mind if I show my Easter Egg box, and something different project, a day early!  As it seems to be Sue Wilson week, lol this year I made my Easter egg box using the Sue Wilson striplet die.  Last year I used Spellbinders A2 Filigree delight die, if you want to see last years creation ( as my blog was new last Easter so lots of my blog friends will have missed it) click HERE.

The whole box is made as a hexagonal box using the striplet for each edge.  There are doors on this box, at the front however they are covered by butterflies!  However they do line up perfectly, that's the beauty of the striplet die!

The below pictures show the doors opening!

There's a lot of pictures but I love this box!  Whatever you are doing with your Bank Holiday please Enjoy...

  6. Hi John. I am playing catch up again so want to say that yesterdays card is beautiful. Sue really thought out her dies didn't she, everything about them has been designed with ease of use and versatility in mind, Sue really is one clever lady. I agree with all of the other comments and it would be lovely to see you on Create and Craft sharing your talent too: )This Easter egg box is gorgeous, it is hard to put into words just how much I love it, thank you for sharing John. I was a follower of your blog at this time last year and loved the Easter Egg box then, now we have two to inspire us : ) Take care.

  14. Hi John
I have just found your blog lately and really love the cards and projects. This one in particular. Have you got instructions on how to make this particular box. Would really love to give it a try as I have just bought this striplet die.

  15. Stunning box John. I would never have the patience to make things like that but lots of people out there are far more patient than I and will be copying this idea I am sure. If you want to send me one I would prefer some of your Jelly Babies to Chocolate for the content please.
